About us:

The Jewish Museum of Maryland is the country's largest regional museum of Jewish American life, culture and history. The museum includes two exhibition galleries with changing exhibits, a library and family history center, and two historic synagogues, Lloyd Street Synagogue (at right, below) (1845) and B'nai Israel Synagogue, (1876) which is pictured to the right.

Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more

Hours:

Sun, Tues, Weds, Thurs: 12-4:00

Tours:

Tours of historic synagogues offered on Tues, Weds, Thurs,and Sundays, 1pm and 2:30pm. Self-guided tours of exhibition galleries are offered. Docent-led group tours may be scheduled by calling extention 29.

Accessibility:

Museum building, exhibit galleries and lower levels of Lloyd Street Synagogue and B'nai Israel Synagogue are accessible.

Metered parking in front of the museum

Admission Prices:

Adults: $8.00
Students (12 and up): $4.00
Adult groups: $5.00 per person
Student groups: $2.00 per person
Children (under 12): $3.00
