About Us:
The Maryland Center for Military History operates under the auspices
of the Maryland Military Department in cooperation with the Maryland Military
Historical Society. The Center includes the Maryland Museum of Military History ,
which contains displays of military artifacts and memorabilia dating back to
the founding of the Maryland colony in the 17th century, and the Maryland
Military Historical Research Center , which contains an extensive collection
of documents, photographs, audio recordings and motion pictures relating to Maryland's
military history, including an extensive collection of World War II documents
relating to the 29th Infantry Division.
Hours:
Tues-Fri 10 am to 3 pm (other hours available by appointment). Calling ahead
is recommended due to security restrictions.
