Membership Criteria for Individuals
Any individual interested in supporting history, heritage, preservation, education, and interpretation of the history of Baltimore and the surrounding area is invited to join GBHA. Students, board members, retirees, museum professionals, volunteers, historians, educators, and preservationists are all encouraged to join.
Consultants and freelancers should join as Corporate Members.
Member Benefits
Discounts on Programs – Attend GBHA training sessions at a discounted rate.
GBHA Email Newsletter – Option to receive same monthly email newsletter the museums do, which contain grant opportunities, workshop announcements, events, and other pertinent news.
Special Events – Receive invitations to special events hosted by GBHA members, and discounts from participating organizations.
Tax Deductible Donation – Because GBHA is a non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible (any amount is welcome!) Your donation will be used to support educational programs for museum professionals, and to provide support to individual museums as needed for field trips for local students.
