Membership Criteria for Corporations

• The organization offers a good or service that is of benefit to GBHA’s member museums, non-profit organizations, and/or patrons.
• The organization is located in Baltimore City, or its surrounding counties.
• Annual dues are paid according to existing guidelines.
• Must not abuse privileges and must operate in an honest and professional way.

Membership Term

Your dues will provide you with one full year of GBHA membership, beginning on the date your membership is processed and ending 12 months after that date. A renewal form will be mailed to you in advance of your expiration date. All benefits renew each year upon receipt of dues.

Member Benefits

Products and Services Directory – Company name, contact name, website URL, address, and phone number will be listed in “Products and Services Directory” on GBHA website. Products and Services Directory will be promoted to all organizational and individual members in email newsletters. Only Corporate Members can be listed in the directory.

Advertising in Email Newsletter – Receive one (1) ad in an email newsletter to organizational and individual members, including web URL. Ads in additional email newsletters are available for $25 each. Ads are only available to Corporate Members.

Mailing Labels – Receive one (1) complimentary set of mailing labels of GBHA members.

Free Admission Passes – Receive complimentary free admission passes for company executives: 2 for Small Firms and 5 for Large Firms.

Admission Passes for Employees – Ability to purchase free admission passes for your employees at $20/pass. Good for free admission into GBHA member museums for one (1) year from issue date.

Special Events – Your employees can attend special corporate sponsor weekends twice a year where they can receive discounts at member museums.

Support 40 History Organizations at One Time: Besides earning you the benefits listed above, your membership fee will also support the programs of GBHA, which provide financial and organizational support to the 40 history museums in Baltimore City and the surrounding area. Let your customers know you support the preservation of Baltimore’s history!
