About Us:
One of
the only museums of its kind in the nation, the University of Maryland School
of Nursing's Living History Museum is designed as a unique learning environment
for the presentation and interpretation of the School's history from its founding
in 1889 until the present. Hundreds of original nursing artifacts, historical
photographs, letters and documents, as well as audio and video presentations,
trace the evolution of the School's mission in nursing education, research and
clinical practice from its early years as a hospital training program to its
emergence as a premier professional school.
Hours:
The Museum is open during the academic year, Monday - Wednesday 10 a.m. -
2 p.m., and by appointment. During winter and summer breaks, by appointment only.
Closed holidays.

University of Marland School of Nursing faculty, staff and students: Free
admission (must show valid I.D.)
Suggested contribution: $2 per person; $1 per person for groups of 10 or
more
