GBHA provides member museums with a variety of publicity opportunities. With over 50 members, we are able to share costs, so everyone benefits and saves money while still promoting their own events and exhibits.
GBHA lists all of its members in a print brochure, on its website, and in a membership directory. For an additional yearly fee of $40, members can also have their events promoted through email newsletters and through GBHA's Twitter feed (@BaltHistory).
We also purchase co-op advertisements, where each participating museum pays a portion of the ad fee, and we also collaborate to man tables at community events and trade shows. In addition, we work hand-in-hand with teachers in Baltimore City Public Schools, and are forging partnerships with social studies teachers across Maryland.
